At Ignite, Microsoft announced the general availability (GA) of Power Virtual Agents, a no-code experience for building BOTs. The Power Virtual Agents service is part of the Power Platform family that includes Power Apps, Power Bi and Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow). In this video, I will walk you through how to build a Power Virtual Agent that allows users to interact with a Service Desk. In this scenario, our Service Desk is powered by ServiceNow, an IT Service Management tool. To connect with ServiceNow, we are going to take advantage of the extensibility that exists between Power Virtual Agents and Power Automate. By having this extensibility, it allows Power Virtual Agents to take advantage of the 290+ connectors that exist and interact with those applications/services.
In addition to the Power Automate extensibility, we will also take advantage of the authentication investments that Microsoft has made to ensure that we know what user is interacting with the Bot.
